Support needed
Running a hospital requires an enormous amount of funding – as we know from the NHS in the UK! In Tansen, while 80% of costs are met through patient fees, there is an ongoing need for funding to cover:
- General running costs
- Equipment
- Assisted treatment costs (for those who cannot afford to pay the fees, or those covered by insurance schemes which don’t cover the full cost of their treatment).
- Community health projects including Maternal and Child Health
- The New Life Psychiatric Rehab Centre (a joint project supporting 15 residents)
